Join us for an evening dedicated to understanding dyslexia and how we can work together to support your child’s learning journey.
This event will provide valuable insights into the characteristics of dyslexia, effective strategies used in intervention, and ways families can advocate for their child’s needs.
Whether your child has already been identified or you're just beginning to ask questions, this night is designed to inform, connect, and encourage!

📝 September 15, 17 & 22 | Campus-Wide Universal Screening
During beginning-of-year testing, Candlewood will be a closed campus with no visitors on these three dates. Thank you for helping us protect instructional time and providing our Eagles with a focused testing environment. 💙

☕️📝 Spill the Tea… on Writing! 📝☕️
Our amazing fifth graders in Miss Brady’s class had a unique and wonderful opportunity to share their writing during “Spill the Tea”! 🫖✨
Students selected a narrative piece to share with their classmates, choosing from topics such as the story behind their name, their worst meal ever, or their first experience with something new. 📖💭
It was so much fun listening to our Eagles share their personal stories, experiences, creativity, and voices! And, of course, no “Spill the Tea” would be complete without some light refreshments and a refreshing cup of tea or lemonade. 🍋☕️
What an awesome way to make writing meaningful, personal, and FUN! We are so proud of our fifth graders for putting their writing out there and sharing their stories with confidence.

Are you interested in being part of iPlay? We are looking for 3rd–5th grade students who are ready to have fun, build teamwork skills, get involved, and represent our school! 💪🏽⭐️

Registration is first come, first served. Once all 20 spots are filled, additional students will be placed on a waitlist.

Did you know September is Attendance Awareness Month? It is a nationwide campaign highlighting the critical link between regular school attendance and academic achievement. We are working with Student Family and Support Services to have an amazing spirit week next week to highlight the importance of attendance. Dressing up is not mandatory, but encouraged. Students will be awarded treats during their lunch period with an extra special visitor on Thursday! Check out the flyer for daily spirit dress up!

Our treasured grandparents hold such a special place in our Eagle family, and we can’t wait to celebrate them! ❤️
This year, we’re putting a fun new spin on our traditional Grandparents Luncheon. Since our cafeteria space is needed to support all of our students on campus, we’re excited to invite our grandparents to a special afternoon of GAMES WITH GRANDS! 🎉

🦅📚 CANDLEWOOD EAGLES, IT’S TIME TO BECOME A ZEARN MASTER! ➕⭐
We’re excited to kick off our Zearn Masters Challenge again at Candlewood STEM Academy! 🚀
What is Zearn?
Zearn is an online math program that gives students extra opportunities to practice, build confidence, and strengthen their math skills. 💻🧠
🏆 How do you become a Zearn Master?
It’s simple! Students need to complete at least 3 Zearn lessons each week, for a total of 12 lessons during the month.
💻 Students can practice at home, too!
All students can access Zearn from a device at home through ClassLink. They already know their ClassLink login information and password, so they’re ready to get started!
🔄 A NEW CHALLENGE EVERY MONTH!
At the end of each month, we’ll pull our Zearn report to see how many of our Eagles have earned the title of ZEARN MASTER! 🦅🏆
🎉 And there’s an extra reward… Zearn Masters will receive a special treat! 🍭
