HS JROTC Skills Meet
On Thursday, March 21, AFJROTC sent it's Color Guard and Rocket Crew PT teams to compete at the Steven HS JROTC Skills Meet. Throughout the event, cadets demonstrated their training through precise movements, focused execution, and unwavering support for one another. A well earned round of applause goes to the PT Girls Team, who achieved first place with a powerful showing that combined endurance, teamwork, and determination. This competition served as a meaningful reminder of what AFJROTC embodies: discipline, unity, and the pursuit of growth.

Pilot Orientation
On March 27th, our cadets got to meet some amazing pilots from Randolph Air Force Base. We got to hear them talk about all of their humble beginnings as well as what steps they took to get where they are today. We got a briefing where they receive their squadron flying instructions. Then, we headed outside where we got to check out and take pictures with one of the planes, a T-6 trainer. After that, we went over to life support to check the equipment the pilots don to fly with, including helmets, G-suits, etc. Some of the female pilots talked to a couple of female cadets to share their unique perspectives. Finally, we all got to fly in a T-6 Trainer simulator, which was exciting to experience a little of what an actual flight is like. All in all, we had a great experience.
