I count it a great privilege and honor that you are allowing me to have a voice in the life of your student(s). I take very seriously the charge that I have been given as Candlewood’s second Assistant Prinicpal. I know that these years are some of the most difficult years in a person’s life. I know that some of the decisions we make now will have a great impact on each student’s future. It is my commitment to you as an educator to ensure that all students are safe and have a wonderful learning experience at Candlewood Elementary.

This is my 1st year as an assistant principal. I have taught since 2007. I have a Bachelor of Art and Master in Special Education from Ashford University. I will find opportunities for all students to go beyond the classroom by having real-world connections.

I set my standards high for each scholar and keep them high. I will not water down or manipulate the message to fit the culture, but rather build a strong educational foundation that will withstand life’s storms. I will welcome your student(s) each week with open arms and will do my best to help them find their place in society. Although there is no greater voice in your child's life than you as a parent, I am truly thankful for the small part you allow me to play. I look forward to seeing your student(s) grow and flourish!
